This year, Le Grand's famous champagne dinner
returns after, like so many other fine things, a one-year hiatus.
This year, we've got a fine mix of Champagnes with styles varying from the crisp and steely to the brawny to the soft and luxurious. Six wines with six lovely courses to accompany and complement them!
The champagne dinner sells out fast each year to rave reviews. To avoid disappointment we'd suggest putting your name down sooner rather than later. You can sign up using the directions below.

Nomine Renard Blanc de Blancs NV
sweet-sour glazed rillauds, seared halloumi, roasted pears,
pear compress, hazelnuts, frisee, pear gel
Charles Heidsiek Brut Reserve NV
seared scallop, braised belgian endive, chickpea,
grapefruit relish, avocado puree
Taittinger Millesime 2013
a trio of intermezzi:
-blini, sour cream, caviar, chive
-ahi tuna tartar, sauce gribiche,soy cured egg yolk, chive
-citrus-cured salmon, avocado puree, whipped cultured cream, dill
Champagne Collet Rosé NV
corned duck breast, sparkling rose and cranberry gel, poached cranberry, charred celery root and celery root chips, duck sauce, upland cress
Taittinger Nocturne Sec NV
layered persimmon tart, posset, persimmon custard,
yuzu persimmon gel,
torched italian meringue, salted persimmon

Please note that, due to this being a capacity event, smaller groups are likely to be seated together.
A note on allergies: For dinners of this size and complexity it is very difficult to accommodate dietary restrictions. To guarantee you, our guests, the best experience, we regret we will not be able to honor changes to the menu requested on the same night of the dinner.
Please communicate any special needs ahead of time.
Due to the complexity of the menu and the unpredictability of our
winter weather, we will only be seating indoors for this event, and our
patio will not be in use.
In keeping with King County Covid Mandates, all guests seated inside
the restaurant are required to show proof of vaccination or a negative
Covid test administered within the prior 72 hours.
