New King County Vaccination Policy

Beginning October 25th, King County has mandated that anyone patronizing a restaurant who is seated inside must first show proof of full CoVid vaccination status, or evidence of a negative CoVid test administered within the prior 72 hours.

We will be adhering to this mandate, for the increased safety of our guests and staff.

Indoor Dining--What to Expect

When you arrive at Le Grand, our host staff will ask to see a CDC Vaccination Card for each person in the party. This can be the actual card, a copy of the card, or a photo of the card on your phone.  Children younger than 12 years old are exempt from this requirement.  For those who aren't vaccinated, proof of a negative CoVid test taken within the prior 72 hours will also satisfy the mandate.  Please note, results of self-administered (home) tests are not allowed.  Lastly, King County regulations specify that everyone inside the restaurant who isn't seated at a table is required to wear a mask.

Outdoor Dining--What to Expect

We have limited seating available in our outdoor covered patio.  Those who aren't vaccinated and don't have a negative test can still dine outdoors.  Additionally, masks are recommended, but not required outdoors.  We do accept reservations for our outdoor area, but please be aware that seats are limited!

Our Staff

Our staff is fully vaccinated and wears masks at all times, indoors and outdoors.

Please Help us Out

We're a restaurant, not a police station or hospital, so following these rules is going to be a bit disruptive to our normal business model.  You can help us out by having your proof of vaccination ready when you come to dine at Le Grand!  We appreciate your help as we all endure another (and hopefully last!) winter with the virus.

These policies are in place for the health and safety of everyone at Le Grand Bistro and, while we wish to be as hospitable as possible to all, anyone not willing to abide by them will be politely asked to leave the restaurant.
